Fleur de Luze 2009
Fleur de Luze is 100% Sauvignon Blanc and has been well received by wine enthusiasts and critics alike: ‘a lovely crisp, light personality alongside exciting depth of character’ – Tara O’Leary. The wine is a clear, crystalline pale gold colour with a very clean citrus, lychee, and mango bouquet. It has a long, fruity after taste which follows through with a slight hint of ripe grapefruit and a refreshingly slight touch of fizz.
It can be enjoyed as an aperitif or with a seafood platter, Mediterranean prawns or grilled fish such as shad on a barbecue, trout, or scampi. Fleur de Luze is terrific with appetizers such as Mezze, Tapas and Dim Sum. It’s also great with Thai cuisine and cheese – try it with a fondue! It’s best served well-chilled at around 9°-10°C.
Chateau Roques de Mauriac Bordeaux Rose 2011
This Bordeaux Rosé is one of wine critic Jonathan Ray’s (The Telegraph) ‘Top Ten Favourite Wines’. Chateau Roques du Mauriac Rosé 2011 is a wine with the colour of rose petals and is mouth wateringly, crisp, rich salmon pink rose petal colour with the flavours of redcurrants, raspberries, strawberries, pomegranate and cranberries.
This Rosé is a wine for the epicurean – and you can indulge your taste buds as well as your guests! You can pair Roques de Mauriac with an array of dishes including shellfish, halibut, plaice and sole as well as creamy pastas, chicken, pork, quiche, ham, cheeses and salads. It is great with Chinese cuisine and tapas!
