This Saturday is the first meeting of the season as the racing on the 11th of March was called off due to waterlogging. The track has been flooded by the River Avon a few times this Winter but all being well the racing is set to go ahead this Saturday. The going is currently heavy and is soft in places.
The gates open from 11:30am so why not come along and enjoy a great day at the races?Stratford Racecourse is one of the country’s leading small racecourses and is well placed for access to/from the M5, M6, M69, M40 and M1 (for sat nav use their postcode is CV37 9SE). If racing is new to you Stratford Racecourse have a Beginners Guide here that explains everything from the different types of races to how to read if a horse is on good form.
We hope to see you on the day! Please make yourself known to Paul or Nick if you do come along.
