We are at
the Summer BBC Good Food Show at the NEC in Birmingham from Wednesday 13th – Sunday 17th June and if you are in the area we would love to meet you! We will have our range of wines at Stand F270 in Hall 20 for you to taste. It’s a great opportunity for us to enjoy our wines with visitors who are keen to try, discuss and discover our range. I will be there to chat with visitors about what we all get from the wines, what kind of palates they have, which wines pair well with certain foods and which wines suit them.
The Summer BBC Good Food Show is a great event to attend and is packed with great food – and of course great wine! It’s a delightful
extravaganza of tastes and flavours with over 100 small producers, many not available on the high street. The Producers’ Village is always packed with speciality producers offering local and seasonal produce.
There is a fantastic line-up of celebrity chefs including James Martin; the Hairy Bikers, John Torode, Gregg Wallace, MasterChef Champion 2012 – Shelina Permaloo, Olly Smith, Michael Caines and local Chef Glynn Purnell.
The Show will bring to life some of TV’s most loved cookery programmes including Saturday Kitchen featuring th
e omelette challenge and celebrity guests’ food heaven and hell. Plus MasterChef sessions hosted by the fearsome duo, featuring cook offs and demonstrations.
Tickets also include entry to BBC Gardeners’ World Live where visitors can pick up tips on how to grow your own from Monty Don, Alan Titchmarsh, Carol Klein, Joe Swift and experts from the Royal Horticultural Society. Many people who love to cook are also keen on growing fruit, vegetables and herbs and the Grow Your Own Area (in the gardens outside the NEC) is the perfect place to pick up top tips and advice from the experts.
The Summer Kitchen has a top line up
of celebrity chefs cooking live so if you’re looking for summer recipe inspiration, then make sure you reserve a seat and look forward to half an hour of top entertainment from your favourite chefs. Look out for fresh, seasonal, summer dishes, cooked with local ingredients. Why not wander over to our stand afterwards and check out which wines will pair with the summer dishes you fancy?
